Under the reign of Eileen and Paddy, Connollys began grow fast n popularity as a music venue, and further developed its cult status. At its peak in 1997 the venue hosted 230 gigs. For many it was a pilgrimage, a rite of passage.
Eileen Looked after bands, making sure they had full tummies, something to drink and a bed to fall into at the end of the night, which to this day is something that we stand by.
Today, Connolly’s is a destination for artists and punters alike, coming from every corner of the country to enjoy some great music, local beer and wood-fired goodies from our kitchen
